Contract Type:  Permanent

About the role:

This new role will work within the ITF Seafarers’ Trust to develop projects to support seafarers’ unions, welfare organisations and other stakeholders who deliver welfare services to seafarers and their families. In addition, we are creating a new area of work highlighting the role of seafarers in international supply chains, based around the Trust’s photography archive derived from recent photography competitions.

The post-holder would also be expected to take on other activities/responsibilities as required to achieve the Trust’s overarching goals and cooperate with the team on all aspects of the programme of work.

This role would suit a flexible, self-motivated professional, with a strong commitment to social justice, excellent communication skills, and proven experience of project management, ideally in the maritime and/or charities sector.

Due to the international aspects of the organisation’s work, a good working knowledge of another language would be an advantage.
