Strong unions need women

Directed by the ITF women’s committee, the ITF women’s department works with affiliates, helping them to organise more women transport workers and maximise their workplace power.
Our aim is to strengthen the collective voice and win better conditions for women transport workers around the world. Key issues include access to decent pay and jobs, and the right to work free from violence.
