The successful candidate will support the Maritime Coordinator and the Maritime Section Coordinators with the effective delivery of ITF Maritime Policies in the delivery of the section’s priorities through:
- Drafting relevant section policy documents
- Coordinating the sections and departments policy development.
The successful candidate will have excellent tact, communication and diplomacy skills, as well as strong and significant experience of policy research, development and implementation, as you will be the key contact with responding to policy enquiries as directed by the Maritime Coordinator and to advise and communicate with ITF Sections, Regions and Departments on implementing policies. You must have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key affiliates, governments and international bodies. You will have a keen eye for strategic thinking, to interpret and analyse data to communicate to different audiences. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, knowledge of a second language would be an advantage.

This role offers a starting salary of £50,510.00 per annum, plus a non-performance related guaranteed bonus equating to 1/12th of your annual salary.
