This congress will be the first for the ITF which is fully digital. It means there won’t be any printing and all delegates are being offered a congress tablet handheld device. These will be used to access the dedicated congress website, where all congress meeting documents, including section conferences, the theme document and the report on activities, can be viewed. The congress website is also the area where you can participate and have your say on the issues that matter to you and your union, whether you’re going to congress or not. The interactive building a strategy area is your platform to discuss and debate issues around the themes of this year’s congress. Comments from the area will be fed into section and departmental conferences so make sure you get your voice heard!
Meanwhile congress participant reporters have already been leaving comments, pictures and reports about their preparations for Sofia in the participant reports area of the site. These are delegates who’ve been trained up in how to post on the website themselves so they can give live updates on the sessions they go to.
