The survey has been devised by the ITF, Seamen's Hospital Society, International Maritime Health Association and International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN), and is available through the ISWAN website. It follows on from a pilot survey that took place in July 2014, and is also open to women who took part in that.
The survey is open to women seafarers only, and responses are anonymous and cannot be traced back.
