Press conference at IATA Dublin next week closes two days of airport justice events

ニュース 記者発表資料

The press conference will take place at 11:30 on 2 June in the Ailesbury Room of the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, Merrion Rd, Dublin 4 (www.claytonhotelballsbridge.com), just minutes from the AGM.

The press conference will be hosted by Siptu (Services Industrial Professional and Technical Union). Please confirm attendance by dropping a note to smillar@siptu.ie and dawson_sam@itf.org.uk

Airports United is an international network of trade unions in the aviation and airport industries. The press conference will follow the launch on 1 June of a new report that shows that although the global airline industry is expected to make record profits of USD36.3 billion this year, airlines have created a race to the bottom that is putting airport workers – and airport safety and the quality of services – under pressure. Also on that day airport workers in several countries will display banners and leaflet fellow workers and/or passengers.

You will receive full details of all events, plus a copy of the report, in a press release on 31 May. The Twitter hashtag for the events will be #AirportWorkers

Airports United is supported by the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) and Uni Global Union*.

ENDS
