Report Published 18 Nov 2022

The 15 workers’ stories presented in this report depict public transport workers’ experiences in accessing decent sanitation facilities. The stories are drawn from 13 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America and the Middle East. 20 in-depth interviews were carried out with workers in urban public transport – including mobile workers (drivers, conductors, guards) and non-mobile workers (ticket sellers, customer service roles, maintenance) – from different sectors of public transport – rail, bus, taxi, and informal transport.
