Workers organise in Alsa at Morocco workshop

news

Activists from the Union des Syndicats UMT des Transports (UMT) have come together at an ITF workshop in Marrakesh to organise their response at the bus company Alsa.

Alsa, part of the National Express group from the UK, has made headlines for its mistreatment of union members.

Participants at the workshop discussed this along with safety and other issues at Alsa.

An international delegation, including union representatives from the USA and Europe, have joined the workshop. Along with the UMT workers, they will meet with Alsa management this week to discuss how to improve the relationship between the union and the company.
