London and Istanbul among sites for Deutsche Post-DHL protests

On March 26 union members and supporters around the world will be showing their support for the families of workers at logistics giant DHL in Turkey who have faced dismissal and aggression by the company.
Among the sites for the DHL Families’ Day will be Istanbul, where a press conference will be held at 09:30 in the Points Hotel, and journalists given the chance to meet those affected; and London, where a family demonstration will be held at 12:00 on at the German embassy at 23 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PZ. The German government is a major shareholder in the company and supporters will be approaching the country’s embassies in many countries to express their concern.
