Vacancy: Travel and Events Administrator

The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), a Global Union Federation of around 670 transport trade unions in 147 countries representing over 19.7 million workers, is looking for a Travel and Events Administrator (D3) to join the Travel and Events - Global Administration Team (GAT) to be based in London and to start as soon as possible.

This is a challenging and interesting opportunity for the successful candidate within the GAT and one that will need high quality administrative skills as well as strong organisational skills, effective drafting and proof-reading skills, experience of booking travel related services, organising meetings and conferences, and flexibility in working as part of a wider team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required, with proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders. Due to the international aspects of the organisation’s work, a good working knowledge of another language would be an advantage.

Experience in working with databases and CRM systems and the ability to analyse data is essential, along with knowledge of travel systems (GDS) and event management.

Excellent conditions accompany a starting salary of £36,648 plus an annual bonus of £3,054.00. Annual leave will start at 22 days per annum pro-rata in the year of joining.
