Sharing these stories was important for me because they highlight the relevant impact that young leaders can have in fields often dominated by established norms and traditions. By sharing their experiences with the youth and union leaders, I aim to shed light on the challenges they face and the successes they achieve.
As a member of the Communications Department in our union and a music enthusiast who finds inspiration in Whitney Houston’s song The Greatest Love of All, with its lyrics, ‘I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way’, I am determined to emphasise the value of nurturing young leaders.
By doing so, we can better appreciate their role in driving progress, adapting to change and fostering a more dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
