Delivery Hero: It's time to deliver #Rights4Riders

#Rights4Riders

Delivery Hero – the global corporation behind 11 food delivery brands – acts as though they are above the law, driving down standards for delivery riders worldwide.

Delivery Hero’s is multi- billion dollar turnover is built on the backs of riders who are pushed to make deliveries at breakneck speeds. Working on poverty pay, under exploitative algorithmic management, and with the constant threat of deactivation, riders are being forced to work longer and longer hours to survive.

Enough is enough! Riders are standing up - refusing low pay, dangerous conditions, deactivations, and the ongoing denial of their rights.

Riders' demands

Riders around the world have united behind four clear, non-negotiable demands that Delivery Hero must meet to guarantee safe, fair and dignified work for everyone on its platforms.

Fair pay

Pay us a living wage – including pay for every minute we work, including waiting time.

Safer work

Take responsibility for workplace injuries and protecting us from violence and harassment.

Algorithmic transparency

Consult and negotiate with us on how algorithms assign work, evaluate performance and set pay.

Rights at work

Respect our fundamental rights to join a union and collectively bargain.

Stop hiding behind your brands—deliver riders’ rights worldwide
Delivery Hero’s shameful track record

Delivery Hero’s brands have a global record of cutting corners on safety, pay and legality—here are some of their worst offences.

Baemin

With the highest workplace accident rate in Korea, riders risk their lives daily.

Glovo

Misclassifying workers and ignoring the Riders’ Law in Spain.

Foodora

Exiting Canada and Australia, making their entire workforce unemployed rather than facing their mounting legal issues.

PedidosYa

Riders risking their lives in insecure jobs and poverty pay.

Yemeksepeti

Failing to address poor health and safety record including numerous worker deaths in Turkey.
