Support transport workers and their families affected by the devastating floods in Sri Lanka
Severe floods and landslides have swept across Sri Lanka following Cyclone Ditwah and days of relentless rainfall. Entire neighbourhoods have been destroyed, homes buried under mud, and communities cut off as rivers overflow and critical transport routes collapse.
Transport workers are on the frontlines of this disaster.
Many have lost their homes, their livelihoods, or access to their workplaces. Roads, bridges, ports, and rail lines have suffered extensive damage. Power and water systems have been disrupted, leaving tens of thousands without basic services.
As rescue and relief efforts continue, workers and their families need support.
The ITF has launched the Sri Lanka Disaster Fund to support affected workers through our Sri Lankan affiliates. Every donation – no matter the size – helps transport workers rebuild their lives and their communities.
Donors will receive no direct benefit.
