A key meeting of United Nations agency the ILO (International Labour Organization) has just agreed two far-reaching resolutions – one for action on road safety and one on transport network companies such as Uber – following submissions by concerned employer and trade union organisations.

118 inspectors working for the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) have gathered in Panama City, Panama this week for the ITF worldwide inspectors’ seminar (WWIS).

Twenty-six young workers gathered at the Barbados Workers’ Union labour college last week for the first ever seminar specifically for young workers in the Caribbean. The event focused on developing strategic campaigns, as well as on organising skills, educational methods and building a regional network.
