ITF praises leadership of Nigerian union

05 Sep 2019

An ITF delegation has attended the ninth quadrennial conference of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) of Nigeria, praising the reforms of its outgoing president.

ITF Africa regional secretary Mohamed Dauda Safiyanu addressed the conference: “In two terms, president Najeem Yasin Usman has positively changed the image and the functioning of his union.

“We have built close cooperation the ITF and the NURTW under Najeem Yasin Usman, and I am sure this will continue and flourish under the new leadership to be elected by this conference.”
