The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) and European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) have set up a solidarity fund to support transport unions in Türkiye and Syria to the benefit of their members and communities of those affected by the catastrophic and destructive earthquakes that struck on 6 February 2023.
Our union affiliates, the Marine Transport Workers’ Trade Union of Ukraine and the Trade Union of Railwaymen and Transport Constructors of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Free Trade Union of Locomotive Engineers will disperse humanitarian aid to transport workers most in need and their families.We will work with our affiliates in Türkiye and across the region to disperse humanitarian aid and support transport workers and families most in need.
Donors will receive no direct benefit.
