Strictly's Nick Knowles cut a glum figure as he was
spotted sporting an arm and leg brace during a trip to
the garage in Surrey on Friday.

The DIY SOS host, 62, was eliminated from the show in week three
after previously being forced to pull out of Movie Week due to
a shoulder and knee injury.

Nick cut a casual figure for the outing in a black polo-neck black sweater and brown plaid trousers
with his supports worn over the top.

He chatted with a member of staff as his car was valeted before later jumping into the driver's seat and
heading home.

Nick was left requiring an MRI scan and hobbling on crutches after he fell during rehearsals for the BBC competition.

It came after he had already hurt his arm while changing a tyre after his car broke down on the way to his
own birthday party.

Nick has since revealed his Strictly Come Dancing future when asked by a fan whether he'd be doing the end of series group dance.

When someone enquired on Instagram: 'Will you still be able to
do the end of series dance in the final?
Wouldn't seem right you not being there.'

Nick replied: 'I'm not sure my injuries will allow - I have to wait for the knee operation until the bicep
operation has healed so I can use crutches afterwards.

'So I don't think recovery will be in time sadly.'

Last month the broadcaster shared a video from his hospital bed where he told
fans he has 'two or three months' of physiotherapy ahead.

He said: 'Just woken up from my op.

'All went well by all accounts so I have a reattached bicep now so bit of
physio over the next two or three months and all should
be right as rain and back to 100% I think.

He completed the look with a pair of lace up leather
boots

'So that's one down and one to go on the knee,' he
added and captioned the video: 'All done - thanks to Mr Ahrens the surgeon and
all the medical staff'.

Nick and Luba lost the dance-off to Shayne Ward and
Nancy Xu.

Both couples performed their routines again; Shayne and Nancy performed their Cha Cha
to Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) by Sub Sub feat. Melanie Williams.

Then, Nick and Luba performed their Charleston to Rain on the Roof from the film Paddington 2.

However, despite narrowly making it back into the competition as he
recovered from a shoulder and knee injury,
Nick, 62, was soon sent home by all four judges - Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.

When asked by Tess about their time on the show,
Nick said: 'I've really, really been surprised by how much I've loved doing it and by two things that happen.'

He explained: 'One is how much you care each week, and the other is how much you don't want to let down your partner.

'The only reason I could do this is simply because of Luba's changes, she's been amazing.'

The TV presenter was well enough to return to Strictly
but his comeback was short lived as he became the third celebrity eliminated

Luba said: 'I've never met someone as determined as you, and I remember you saying that if
you do your best, you'll be very happy. I
think you did more than your best. Thank you.'

When asked by Tess about his partner Luba, Nick shared:
'Luba's been amazing and just been so fabulous every day.

'And I should say thank you also to all the background staff,
the physios, all the people that have actually got
me through this week, and to all of my fellow competitors who have been absolutely astounding, beautiful
people.

'There are some amazing dancers up there, and I will love watching
the rest of the series.'
