ITF Photography prize 2024

About the competition

Do you have a story to tell? Are you a truck driver, seafarer, docker, pilot, bus driver, ticket seller or the backbone of any other part of the transport world?

We are looking for captivating and compelling photos that provide a real and authentic glimpse into the daily lives and experiences of transport workers. We want to see your daily grind, your triumphs, and the often unseen challenges you tackle every day.

The competition is open to workers from all regions, all transport sectors – including aviation, maritime, railways, road and public transport – and to women and young workers.

Your photos play a crucial role in shedding light on the importance of transport workers and help will help us fight for better rights for all transport workers.

In an exciting addition this year, we introduce the ‘People’s Choice’ award where shortlisted entries will go head-to-head, and you get to vote for the winner.

Enter the ITF Photo Prize 2024 today and show us how you move the world forward!

Submission guidelines

Unleash your creativity to present the world from your perspective, with a chance to claim the ITF Photo Prize 2024.

We’re looking for striking photography to give people an insight into the working lives of transport workers.

This competition is free to enter and open to all serving transport workers globally aged 18 and over. Each entrant can submit a maximum of three images. Photographs can be submitted in any style, from portraiture of workers, to photos of people at work, to aerial and drone photography of transport-related scenes.

Make sure you leave yourself enough time to get proper consents from people in your photographs and please take the time write captions that tell us the stories that sit behind your photos.

Technical considerations:

  • Make sure you have the required evidence to confirm you are a transport worker. For example, a membership document, ID badge or letter from a recognised employer with your name clearly visible.
  • We need print quality images so please ensure that you provide the largest possible file size when you save and upload (e.g. Save ‘Actual Size’ on your phone).
