This report was commissioned by the ITF as a contribution to the Our Public Transport (OPT) programme, with Swedish government financial support. The study was undertaken within the context of the overall objectives of OPT, to “promote quality public transport and inclusive cities in Africa, including decent jobs, a just transition for informal workers, strong union representation and improved access to affordable mobility.”
