More than 1,700 people are believed to have died so far, with more than 5,000 injured and nearly 16,000 displaced in the wake of the twin earthquakes.
The humanitarian crisis is deepening by the day, with countries around the world assisting Venezuela through the deployment of rescue personnel, rescue dogs to find trapped victims, and supplies.
The ITF Venezuela Earthquake Fund will support affected workers through our Venezuelan affiliate, Federación Bolivariana de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras del sector Transporte, Afines y Conexos (the Bolivarian Federation of Transport and Amalgamated Workers). Every donation – no matter the size – helps transport workers rebuild their lives and their communities.
Donors will receive no direct benefit.
