Marshall Abrahams joined the Organising Globally Coordination Team in 2009 from the ITF's Maritime Department, where he was involved in maritime research and assisted in company organising activities. 

He was a staff committee representative for two years.

Before he started work at the ITF, he spent some time working as a teacher in Japan. He also spent some time on the Tyne making ships (well...little ships in bottles).  At the moment  he is still finding his feet in his new Office, but is involved in Global Delivery activities and their development, Maersk research and various other projects - some of which cross over into Young Workers. He is currently a Pensions Trustee at the ITF and is a member of Unite.
