Across Europe, the independent European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) represents more than 5 million transport workers from more than 200 transport unions and 38 European countries. The ETF is part of the wider ITF but maintains autonomy in governance and decision making.

Across Europe we work in partnership to build union power and influence, expand trade union rights, strengthen the capacity of our affiliates, and to build alliances and exert influence across the European Union, the European Economic Area and Central and Eastern European countries.
