Solidarity for workers taking action in Ryanair

Send a solidarity message to workers taking action for fair treatment in Ryanair

After industrial action that started on Monday 16th, Ryanair faces more disruption as aviation workers in both Italy and Spain prepare for strikes next week.

In Italy, workers are protesting because Ryanair refused to talk to the union they joined, the ITF-affiliated FIT-CISL. The company has suspended cabin crew who refused to handle non-essential in-flight sales. The union may start strike action next week, pending a court decision.

Spanish baggage handlers, members of ITF affiliate CC.OO., are due to take strike action again on Monday 23rd October. Workers have been protesting about Ryanair's disregard of negotiated agreements, of the right to join a union and even of statutory requirements.

The ITF is supporting the unions and is asking for others to send messages of solidarity.
