The Road Transport Workers’ Section is one of the ITF’s eight industrial sections. Its membership includes 282 unions worldwide, representing 1,456,065 members.

Section Chair: Martin Mayer (Unite the Union (T&G Section), Great Britain)
Section Vice-Chair (passenger): Asbjørn Wahl (Fagforbundet, Norway)
Section Vice-Chair (goods): Abner Ramakgolo (SATAWU, South Africa)
Women's Representative: Wilma Clement (Barbados Workers' Union)
Young Workers' Representative: Per Ole Melgard (Norsk Transportarbeiderforbund)

The section is supported at the ITF secretariat by Section Secretary, Mac Urata and Assistant Section Secretary Janina Malinovska.

An annual section meeting, open to all affiliates, is supported by an expanded and more representative Steering Committee (See >>). One of the annual section meetings held between ITF Congresses is designated as a full Section Conference.
