ITF young workers summer school, June 2013

The second ITF summer school specifically for young workers was held on 24-28 June in Washington DC. The week-long event provided an opportunity for young activists to get together, network, and develop skills in international campaigns and solidarity. Now in its fourteenth year, the summer school has reached over 500 participants from all transport sectors since it began. This year, 40 participants from 24 different countries were hosted by ITF affiliate, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, Maryland, USA. You can watch the Labor's Fountain of Youth film or click here to find out more about the summer schools.
