In March 2001, Collin Coakley was elected as Cabin Crew Coordinator, following the appointment of Ingo Marowsky as Assistant Secretary of the ITF's Civil Aviation Section.

In September 2000, union representatives from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore and the US came together again for further coordination and to further strengthen their cooperation. The meeting elected Collin Coakley from the Flight Attendant Association of Australia as Deputy Cabin Crew Coordinator.

In October 1999, unions representing cabin crew in United Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Thai Airways, All Nippon Airways, Ansett International and Air New Zealand came together in Bangkok for further coordination and information sharing. The meeting elected Ingo Marowsky from the OETV in Germany as Cabin Crew Coordinator with the task of organising future meetings and maintaining communication between the unions.

During their meetings, the Star Solidarity Alliance cabin crew unions have agreed on the following resolutions, which can be viewed in detail below:
