11-12 October 2004

The Annual International Road Transport Action Day is now set as 11-12 October 2004.

Whilst our very popular slogan “Fatigue Kills!” will be retained and a campaign logo has been designed with this phrase, the ITF Road Transport Workers' Conference in Berlin agreed that more attention should be focused on “organising unorganised workers” where relevant and appropriate. Furthermore, transport security is an increasing concern that has been raised by ITF unions in all sectors. Our slogan for this year’s campaign will, therefore, read: “Union Action for Safety and Security at Work”.
