The Maersk Network: A New Tool in the New Global Economy

The Maersk Network is a global network of trade unions established by the International Transport Federation in Durban in August 2006. The Network seeks to build solidarity, expand union rights, ensure dignity for workers and improve dialogue between unions and the company. This accounts for employees of AP Moeller-Maersk and their subsidiaries and contractors.

The Network encourages ongoing research, communication, cooperation and solidarity between Maersk unions around the globe. The Network seeks to develop education programs among groups of Maersk unions.
