DHL workers who faced thousands of job cuts, and look at an insecure future and uncertainty around management’s handling of the impact of the global economic crisis, are now demanding respect.
DHL workers want a voice in how the company is run wherever they happen to be working, irrespective of whether they are directly employed or a contract worker.
We want DHL to:
- Respect workers – they deliver the results
- Respect our trade unions – they are workers’ collective voice worldwide
- Respect the value of a global agreement – a true contract for a global company

The DHL Workers’ Week is a week of activities from 6 – 12 October 2010 by and for DHL workers and their unions, works councils, workplace committees, etc. It is designed to strengthen, publicise and spread the Respect campaign – and to remind the company that it is time to talk to unions.
The Week is intended to play to participants’ strengths: you will decide what is the appropriate action that you can take your workplace, country or region. Consult our campaign guidelines for ideas and suggested activities.
You can also download campaign material, leaflets, model press release, postcards, in various languages.
Contact us to let us know what your union is doing, tell us your story, get in touch. Email us at globaldelivery@itf.org.uk
