¡No a la impunidad!
Charter for Justice for Pedro Zamora and STEPQ, the ITF union in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
I wish to join the campaign to ensure that the assassination of Pedro Zamora on 15 January 2007 does not go unpunished, that the authors as well as the perpetrators are brought to justice, and that the campaign of death threats and intimidation against STEPQ leaders ceases.
I will work to the best of my ability to get an assurance from the Guatemalan government that this crime will not go unpunished. I will also campaign for an end to the climate of anti-trade union violence in Guatemala.
I support the right of Guatemalan port workers to be properly involved in the decisions taken about the modernisation of their port, and I will work to ensure that this happens.
