Flight Safety Foundation
Flight Safety Foundation is known internationally for providing timely, practical and objective information to FSF members and everyone concerned with the safety of flight. Since its official founding in 1947, the Foundation’s mission has been to pursue the continuous improvement of global aviation safety and the prevention of accidents. The Foundation is an independent, nonprofit international organisation that provides a neutral forum, where the aviation industry can meet in a noncompetitive environment to identify safety concerns, determine solutions and implement ideas and actions to improve safety.
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
ICAO is a United Nations body, promoting the safe and orderly development of international aviation. One of its chief activities is standardisation, covering the technical fields of aviation, such as licensing of personnel, operation of aircraft, airworthiness, aircraft accident investigation, and others. The ITF and its affiliated unions participate in the work of ICAO.
International Labour Organization (ILO)
The ILO is a United Nations body, promoting "decent work for all". To do so, the organisation lays down minimum standards for numerous industries, and also defines the rights of employees for free trade union recognition and collective bargaining.
