The ITF Urban Transport Committee is a joint activity of the Railway Workers' Section and the Road Transport Workers' Section on urban public passenger transport. At the invitation of our German affiliate ver.di, the ITF Urban Transport Committee Meeting will be held from 19 to 21 January 2010 in Berlin. The Provisional Agenda for the meeting will include (a) Climate Change and Sustainable Transport; (b) Precarious Work in Public Transport Industries; (c) Health and Safety (Violence at Work); (d) Transport Policy; (e) Multinationals; (f) Workers’ Rights; (g) Women and Young Transport Workers; (h) Organising Globally Programme for the Urban Transport Committee.
