Finance Assistant – Income Support (D1) – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), a London-based international federation of around 700 transport trade unions in 150 countries representing over 16.5 million workers, is looking for a Finance Assistant – Income Support (D1) in the Finance Department to be based in London and to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will need to have strong administrative experience as well as good organisational and communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English is essential and a good working knowledge of another language will be valuable. 

Excellent conditions accompany a starting salary of £29,063.00 plus an annual bonus of £2,421.92, rising to £30,343.00 plus an annual bonus of £2,528.58 after a probation period of 6 months. Annual leave will start at 22 days per annum pro-rata in the year of joining.

It is anticipated that interviews for this position will take place in London in May 2018.

Campaigns Assistant – (C1) (6 months fixed term contract)

The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), a London-based international federation of around 700 transport trade unions in 150 countries representing over 16.5 million workers, is looking for a Campaigns Assistant (C1) (6 months fixed term contract) in the Supply Chain and Logistics Organising Projects (SCALOP) Department to be based in London and to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the digital arm of our field operations, working with affiliated unions and developing systems and infrastructure in conjunction with the campaign leads and union organisers.  They will also be responsible for managing a complex set of data and analytics to inform campaign tactics in conjunction with the ITF Communications and Research team.

Excellent conditions accompany a starting salary of £37,733.00 plus an annual bonus of £3,144.42 paid pro rata in the year of joining. Annual leave will start at 22 days per annum pro-rata in the year of joining.

Interviews for this position will take place in London on 2 May 2018.

The ability for the post-holder to manage both internal and external relationships in addition to using innovative techniques will need to be demonstrated in a CV but also in an accompanying video explaining why you want to come and join our team.
