The ITF’s mandate is to build transport workers’ power through three strategic directions: growing and activating membership, innovative campaigns, and influencing global and regional policy.

Under the direction of the Youth Officer, Youth Lead Project Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of the Young Transport Workers’ department’s active projects; and identify and develop future projects to fulfil ITF’s strategic directions.

The mission and values of the ITF are of utmost importance and as such, the successful candidate for this role must hold high ethical standards, displaying diligence and integrity when representing the organisation.

We are looking for a flexible and creative individual with strong commitment to social justice and trade unions.

You must have proven experience of developing, implementing and evaluating projects, as well as knowledge of digital tools for organising and campaigning.

High-level verbal and written communication skills, including a collaborative approach to working with others and sound strategic planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to young workers’ rights and empowerment and a flexible approach to provide advice and support governance and compliance matters, in an ever-changing environment with multiple stakeholders

Due to the international aspects of the organisation’s work, the ability to undertake frequent travel and a good working knowledge of another language would be an advantage.

This role offers a salary of £46,742 per annum, plus a non-performance related guaranteed bonus equating to 1/12th of your annual salary.
