Tami began her career onboard a local tour boat M.V. Longtail as a snorkeling instructor. In Jan 2005 she had the opportunity to progress her career with the Department of Marine & Ports ferry service.
Since 2008, Tami has been an assistant shop steward for the ferry division of the BIU. In April 2009 she became a Junior Pilot, driving the smallest ferries in the fleet. She is also the first female ferry pilot in Bermuda.
