International Transport Workers' Federation: Voices of Solidarity

The ITF Amman Office has received many messages of solidarity from unions in the region. Read the messages of solidarity for Mansour Osanloo and his union:

"We have been informed by the kidnapping of our brother Mansour Osanloo, President of the bus workers unions and we deeply condemned this act which its purpose is the denial of his right to free trade union activity. We demand the immediate release of brother Mansour as well as to respect the freedom of association, laws and international conventions. We condemn these practices that strike trade unions rights".

“The General Union for Transport Workers in Palestine deplores and condemns the barbaric and cowardly methods played by irresponsible bands who exercised practices against democracy and against the legitimate institutions by kidnapping our brother Mansour Osanloo. Hence, we demand the official parties to work on his immediate release so as to return to his family, relatives and work safely”.

“We, The Maritime Union in Egypt, denounce what happened to our brother Mansour Osanloo and we express our support to his family and his union.

“We condemn this barbarian act which goes against work trade-union. We ask for the intervention of the government in order to release immediately our friend Mansour and who is responsible of his life”

"ما از ربودن برادرمان منصور اسانلو رئیس سندیکای کارگران اتوبوسرانی مطلع شدیم و ما عمیقا این عمل را که هدف آن محروم کردن ایشان از فعالیتهای آزادانه اتحادیه های کارگری است محکوم می کنیم.ما خواستار آزادی فوری برادر منصور و همچنین احترام به آزادی تجمع و تشکل، قوانین و پیمانهای بین المللی هستیم."
