International Women’s Day 8 March 2003 will once again be a focal point for women’s campaigning in the ITF.

Up to 70 unions worldwide are expected to participate in the campaign day, using a wide range of materials and events to promote their goals for improving the position of women transport workers.

Participating unions will determine their own priority issues, but affiliates have agreed on four key areas for campaigning:
