Canadian union CAW today announced that its membership had raised cdn $2,078,083.18 towards the Asian tsunami relief effort. The CAW National Union, CAW Council and the CAW-Social Justice Fund (SJF) matched workplace donations and individual contributions, amounting to a total of $1,741, 570.71.
