Campaigning for the welfare and wellbeing of passenger vehicle drivers is a key concern for the road transport workers' section.
As part of this campaign, the ITF co-ordinated a worldwide day of action on 13 October 2003 to draw attention to the excessive hours that many professional drivers are forced to work.
