Praise for Heathrow emergency landing crew
18 January 2008
Commenting on the exemplary emergency landing and passenger evacuation in yesterday’s incident at Heathrow, ITF General Secretary David Cockroft said: “We have nothing but praise for the work of the emergency personnel, the coolheaded response of the pilot and the model evacuation carried out by his colleagues, who once again have proved that cabin crew are safety professionals, not ‘trolley-dollies’ or calendar pin-ups.”
