ITF relaunches publication on trade union education in Spanish

The ITF, in cooperation with Public Services International (PSI), has relaunched an important publication on trade union education. Creciendo Juntos: gestión de la fusión y cooperación entre sindicatos is the Spanish version of Growing Together, a publication about merging between trade union organizations.
Growing Together was originally published in 2002 by the University of Cranfield (United Kingdom) and commissioned by PSI. Recognizing the quality of the publication and the importance of the subject, the ITF requested authorization to reproduce the document in Spanish to help bring the information to a wider audience.
"The present world represents new challenges for the trade union movement", says Regional Secretary of the ITF Antonio Rodriguez Fritz. "Trade union organizations must be adapted to these new realities to avoid that neoliberal model that 'proudly' says that in some countries there are no unions fighting for the workers, except us.
"Growing Together constitutes a step forward in the cooperation of trade unions. We hope that this publication helps to make real the well known phrase that says 'the Union makes the Force'".
The ITF has sent copies of “Growing Together” to all its affiliates. The publication can also be downloaded from the link below. The version in English is only available in electronic format.
