ETF Women's Committee

About the ETF Women’s Committee

The ETF Women’s Committee consists of 1 representative for each ETF section and 12 members elected by the ETF Women’s Conference taking into account the need for a regional and industrial balance.

The section representatives are nominated by each ETF section prior to the ETF Congress. They are:

• Lena Moberg-Lindwall, Railway Transport (Statsjänstemannaförbundet  ST, Sweden)  
• Sylvie Roux, Fisheries (CFDT Pescas, France)
• Tanja Ruhloff, Road Transport (Ver.di, Germany)
• Satu Silta, Maritime Transport (Finnish Seamen’s Union, Finland)
• Kaia Vask, Ports (Estonian Seamen's Independent Union, Estonia)
• Ekaterina Yordanova, Civil Aviation (Union of Transport Workers' Syndicates in Bulgaria, Bulgaria)

The 12 Women's Committee members are elected once every 4 years by the ETF Women’s Conference.  The 12 members include 6 Women Representatives in the ETF Executive Committee and 1 Women Representative in the ETF Management Committee.
