Peru: APMT has won the concession to operate the Muelle Norte terminal in the port of Callao, next door to DPW Italy: Plans have been announced for APMT to build new container terminals in Monfalcone.
Other info: APMT is unique amongst the 'big 4' GNTs as it doesn’t rely on a major home hub like Dubai, Hong Kong or Singapore, instead it's port operations are evenly spread. It’s a disadvantage because large hubs are generally the most profitable.
In 2010 APM discontinued operations in Oakland and Savannah in the USA, Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Yantian in China, Voltri in Italy and Dunkirk in France.
