On 17 May, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, IAMAW (USA), is holding its 2007 Day of Action. It is the 5th in a series of such events, which the Civil Aviation Secretariat supported before and is supporting this year. It is endorsed by the AFL-CIO's Transportation Trades Department and the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (28 February 2007).

We are supplying several modules for you to use on this webpage, and we invite you to play your role in making this year's Day of Action an international success.

Take Action

  • The IAMAW in Canada will be showing support for the US IAMAW on the day of action more >>

  • Flight attendants are co-sponsoring day of action. They’ve had enough of pension terminations, working without health care and job cuts, according to Pat Friend, president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA. (AFA-CWA press release, April 26) For more information, go to www.afanet.org.

Aviation civile
