Campaign for Cabin Crew Licensing
On 7 December 2004 Civil Aviation trade unions all over the world took part in a special day of action to highlight the need for governments and the air transport industry to licence or certify cabin crew.
The Secretariat, as part of the campaign, has forwarded the Charter to ICAO, and also raised the issue through a working paper during its General Assembly. Unfortunately, the General Assembly did not support this approach. The Cabin Crew Committee decided to re-adjust the campaign and focus on activities in Europe.
