Pirates attack Maersk Phoenix

Pirates flee after warship appears
Pirates attacked product tanker Maersk Phoenix on 22 June in the Gulf of Aden.
Kristian Mørch, Chief Operating Officer at Maersk Tankers, says the attackers fled after the vessel performed evasive manoeuvres and called for help from a coalition warship, which arrived after 15-20 minutes.
The Maersk vessel was en route from Bashir, Sudan, to Singapore.
