Maersk building new platform for Halfdan field

For phase four in field development.
Maersk Oil and Gas has ordered a new platform for developing the Halfdan oil field. The 16,500 tonne platform will cost Dkr 1.9bn (US$ 400m) and is to be built at Sembcorp Marine in Singapore.
The Lloyd's List daily reports that the platform is due to be ready for installation in mid-2010. It will be transported to the North Sea directly from Singapore.
