DHL workers face thousands of job cuts, an insecure future and uncertainty around management’s handling of the impact of the global economic crisis.

Now we are demanding respect

DHL workers want a voice in how the company is run wherever they happen to be working, irrespective of whether they are directly employed or a contract worker.

We want DHL to:

  • Respect workers – they deliver the results
  • Respect our trade unions – they are workers’ collective voice worldwide
  • Respect the value of a global agreement – a true contract for a global company

  Who are we?

The DHL campaign has grown out of the DHL workers’ network set up in February 2009 by global union federations the ITF (International Transport Workers’ Federation) and UNI.

The ITF represents 656 unions with almost five million members in 148 countries. UNI, the global union for skills and services, represents 2.5 million workers from the postal sector.
