Every year more and more West African road transport workers are contacting ITF affiliated unions seeking assistance. This year the ITF and its affiliated unions are conducting a regional questionnaire to give truck transport workers an opportunity to identify their three most pressing problems. With this information the ITF will assist affiliated unions to develop appropriate trade union responses and organise around them.
If you are a truck transport worker in West Africa please download a copy of the questionnaire to record you views. Even better, reproduce the form to hand to other truck transport workers and after they have filled them in, gather them up and post them to the ITF African Francophone Office with a covering note and address so your efforts can be acknowledged.
