Page context: International Road Transport Action Week 2005 > ITF Postcard for West Africa

Every year more and more West African road transport workers are contacting ITF affiliated unions seeking assistance.  This year the ITF and its affiliated unions are conducting a regional questionnaire to give truck transport workers an opportunity to identify their three most pressing problems.  With this information the ITF will assist affiliated unions to develop appropriate trade union responses and organise around them.

If you are a truck transport worker in West Africa please download a copy of the questionnaire to record you views.  Even better, reproduce the form to hand to other truck transport workers and after they have filled them in, gather them up and post them to the ITF African Francophone Office with a covering note and address so your efforts can be acknowledged.

The address of the ITF African Francophone Office is:

ITF African Francophone Office
Contact: Nazi Kaboré, ITF Francophone Coordinator
1450 Avenue Kwame Nkrumah, 10 BP 832 CMS Ouagadougou 1,
Burkina Faso
