- About these links
The ITF and Union Network International are campaigning against the uncertainty for their members about jobs and conditions in TNT, and the lack of negotiations with trade unions. Their campaign is strongly supported by sister Global Unions IMF and ICEM, and is backed by the TNT Central Works' Council in the Netherlands.
TNT workers need to make their voices heard through their unions – and unions need to mobilise their members to call for a TNT Guarantee of Global Workers' Rights.
Unions in the US, Australia, Britain, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Netherlands and more are already preparing for leafleting campaigns. Petitions are also being organised. You can access leaflet and petition templates from the Campaign Materials area on this site. Between now and June 2006, we are asking unions to organise leaflet and petitioning activities. This petition is for TNT workers only. To join the campaign, please make sure that your union:
1. Send us a union contact including email address . We have set up a password-protected bulletin board to exchange information and will invite TNT unions to join.
2. Informs us of the preparations you are making to participate in this campaign - we can publish updates and alerts on this site.
3. Promote the sending of protest letters and faxes, and signing of the petition by TNT workers.
This campaign was initiated by the ITF Integrators Network, which coordinates trade unions around the world which organise workers in TNT, DHL, UPS and Federal Express.
